Hydrogen economy is coming to life. Major projects such as „tkH2steel“ with funding of €2 billion signal the transition from research to commercialization. Last June, the industry celebrated the groundbreaking ceremony for the project Energiepark Bad-Lauchstädt with strong media and political attention. This shows two things: production, transport, storage, and usage of green hydrogen is respected as an integrative system AND in hydrogen economy we are advancing from research to commercialisation.

HYPOS supports this dynamic of economic development by promoting acceptance, facilitating knowledge transfer, and networking the key players. For the following event HYPOS and its members put special focus on the topic of hydrogen storage:

The content contributions on hydrogen storage in salt caverns will be provided by HYPOS members from this field of expertise (Information on the companies and topics can be found in the Infosheet). These members are companies and research institutes that have worked in the project H2UGS for Energiepark Bad-Lauchstädt. The generated know-how and the experiences of these members combine to unique expertise and service offers on the topic of hydrogen storage in salt caverns.
