Hydrogen Week South 2022 25.06 - 03.07.2022 Topics: Mobility, Infrastructure, Hydrogen Hydrogen is seen as the guarantor of the energy transition. It is intended to bring renewable energies into mobility, replace natural gas and decarbonize industry and chemistry. How this works, what role the energy carrier plays in the energy transition and what options there are for regions can be experienced live and digitally at the Hydrogen Week South 2022. The states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland are joining forces to show what there is to see and experience in the field of hydrogen. Over nine days, various companies, universities, networks, initiatives, districts and cities in southern Germany will be inviting visitors to find out more about hydrogen as an energy source and its areas of application in the form of events, diverse activities and films. By mid-May, around 80 events from various companies, districts, cities, universities and initiatives had already been registered for the WOCHE DES WASSERSTOFFS SÜD 2022 - with more to follow. The events are organized by the participants on their own responsibility, publicly and free of charge. However, registration is required for some events.
