Lower Saxony has the best prerequisites to become the central location of the German hydrogen economy. Green hydrogen will be an important building block for a climate-neutral energy system. For a successful market ramp-up of hydrogen, however, we need much more speed in the expansion of renewable energies and leaner approval procedures. We are seeing initial successes with the approval of new LNG terminals. This pace must be maintained in order to achieve the energy transition and thus reach the climate targets.

AK Wasserstoff's digital event series "Planning and Permitting: The Challenges of Current Hydrogen Projects" highlights the various challenges of current projects and we therefore cordially invite you to the first digital format:
