The ramp-up of the hydrogen economy is currently in a critical phase. Although climate-friendly hydrogen is urgently needed for the upcoming energy transformation and the IPCEI projects from the Hy2Infra wave have finally received their national funding decisions, too few projects have yet received final investment decisions (FID). At the same time, it is still unclear where we will import our hydrogen from, in what quantities and at what cost.

The North German hydrogen networks are therefore inviting you to the second North German Hydrogen Conference to address obstacles in these areas, discuss possible solutions and highlight the importance of the North German federal states. So make a note of 27.11.2024 in your calendar now. The event will take place at Besenbinderhof 57 A in Hamburg (near Hamburg Central Station).

From 11 a.m., you will be able to talk to companies and institutions from the northern German federal states over lunch as part of the accompanying exhibition. The conference program begins at 12:45 p.m. with impulses from the North German Hydrogen Strategy, which will be discussed in greater depth by political representatives at state secretary level in the panel. The thematic focus of the two other panels will be on increasing final investment decisions for hydrogen projects and the development of import infrastructures and partnerships.

Afterwards, we invite you to an evening closing event with various networking opportunities, where you will have the chance to discuss challenges and possible solutions across federal states.
