On August 29, 2023, the Emsland H2 region cordially invites all interested parties to the "hello hydrogen" project exhibition on the Lingen campus. From 4 to 7 p.m., regional hydrogen players will be presenting their current projects and initiatives. Visitors can find out more about the benefits and potential of hydrogen for the energy system and discuss their questions and suggestions with the companies' experts.

At "hallo wasserstoff", for example, the ROSEN Group will provide exciting insights into its newly built hydrogen testing laboratory and the development of semi-autonomous inspection robots. RWE will also be reporting on its H2 pilot plant and the "GET H2 TransHyDE" project. With the "Lingen Green Hydrogen" project, bp is planning to build a 100 MW electrolysis plant, which is to be expanded to 500 MW in further project stages. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn more about this project and find out about the benefits of green hydrogen. And Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences will be reporting on current hydrogen-related projects in the region. Interested parties can also find out all about the study opportunities in the energy sector at the Lingen campus.

For anyone interested in hydrogen vehicles, there will be several models to view at the event. A special highlight is a hydrogen-powered bicycle, which visitors can even test ride. The FAUN Group will be presenting an emission-free truck and the Emsland waste management company will be presenting its plans for a hydrogen-powered waste collection vehicle that will soon be used to collect bulky waste.

The event will be opened at 4 p.m. by representatives of the city of Lingen and the district of Emsland. The H2-Café will provide a relaxed atmosphere, offering coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks. Registration is not necessary, the exhibition can be entered at any time through the main entrances of the university. The exhibition is open until 19:00 and is free of charge.
