H2AS lecture series: Hydrogen in agricultural engineering

Southern Lower Saxony. The Hydrogen Alliance Southern Lower Saxony (H2AS) invites all interested parties to the 4th online event of the H2AS lecture series on Thursday, March 17, 2022 (17:30-18:30). The topic of the fourth meeting is "Hydrogen in agricultural engineering".

Contents

How can hydrogen (H2) be used optimally in agricultural engineering? What requirements do hydrogen-based drive technologies and supply infrastructures need in the region? Lucas Hüer (Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences) provides answers to these questions based on the project "H2@AgTech: Hydrogen in agricultural engineering - action strategy and entry scenarios in the northwest metropolitan region" of the Agrotech Valley Forum e.V.

In the course of the project, new research and development projects in the field of hydrogen in agricultural engineering and the necessary cross-sectional disciplines (energy systems, robotics, AI, etc.) are to be stimulated and developed. The aim of the project is therefore to develop a strategic framework for action with application-oriented entry scenarios. Their chances of success are to be improved through better positioning and visibility of agricultural technology beyond the metropolitan region.

The district of Osnabrück has received funding of around 40,000 euros from the Northwest Metropolitan Region's development fund. It is one of five projects selected for funding by the metropolitan region this year as part of the "Mobility of the future" priority theme.
