Under this year's theme "The tension is rising: What belongs in the 'specifications' for a stable energy system?", the Federal Network Agency and the Energy Research Center of Lower Saxony (EFZN) invite you to the 15th Göttingen Energy Conference on 15.05.2024 and 16.05.2024 at the Paulinerkirche in Göttingen.

What is the technical impact of the fact that the energy supply system...

• is to generate completely CO2-free electricity in Germany from 2035?
• uses 100% renewable energies in the future?
• has fewer and fewer rotating masses and more and more converters in power generation?
• also needs the load side for system stability?

What does it mean technically for the system if...

• realize risks?
• protective measures need to be established?
• supply and network reconstruction concepts need to be further developed?

These topics will be examined in more detail in three specialist forums.
